Saiyans Taekwondo is a family owned and operated studio in the city of Covina.  Whatever your goal is, competition, self-defense, or just a fun way to get in shape, there is a class for you.  Our studio caters to students of all ages from 4 and up.

The lead instructor, Master Rocky Negrete, a 5th degree (Dan) black belt, has been studying and teaching Taekwondo for over 25 years.  Master Rocky has devoted all his efforts to teaching the next generation of champions by teaching all of the classes developing a personal and professional relationship with his students.  He practices and teaches the tenets of Taekwondo:

As your child or yourself progresses through the belt rankings and gains the self-confidence, they then become role-models for the newer students.  They will also be encouraged to become Junior and Assistant Instructors by joining with Master Rocky as he teaches younger students.

Taekwondo is a total learning activity.  Lessons are tailored to your child’s age and skill level.  Your child begins by practicing basic patterns and forms, board breaking, kicking, blocking, striking and punching.  These fundamental skills increase your child’s physical coordination, flexibility, balance, and mental acumen.
